Today, in honor of the celebration of International Consumer Rights Protection Day, the Antimonopoly Service under the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan organized a round table in Hyatt Regency, where representatives of the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan, Parliament, the Ministry of Health and Social Affairs took part. protection of the population, the Ministry of Education and Science, the Tajikstandart Agency, the Food Safety Committee under the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan, the National Bank, the Consumers Union of Tajikistan, as well as representatives of a number of international organizations and embassies of different countries in Tajikistan.
The event discussed topical issues of consumer protection in the field of food products, education, medicine, as well as banking services. It was noted that it is very important to ensure the coordination of activities between the authorized structures for the protection of consumer rights and take joint measures to ensure the quality and safety of goods and services.
